I have been taking pictures of birds lately, mostly when I am out in my kayak. These pictures were all taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ1 Lunix digital camera, with the zoom at the maximum (420 mm equivalent) hand held. In the Fall of 2004 I started using a Panasonic FZ20 with higher resolution and the ability to manually focus. Many were taken from a rather unstable kayak (Perception Corona), and many of my best shots came out too blurry to use. These are the unedited, uncropped pictures. I may change the color balance on some at some time in the future, as many were taken on overcast days.

I would be happy to get any corrections on the names of birds or plants.
