I recently defended my Ph.D. thesis in the Computer Science Department at Dartmouth College. My research focuses on computational protein design with adviser Professor Chris Bailey-Kellogg. We work in close collaboration with the protein engineering lab of Professor Karl E. Griswold. The Deimmunization Project seeks to modify a given exogenous protein to evade "non-self" detection and deleterious immune response such that the bio-macro-molecule is suitable for therapeutic applications.
