Dave and Pam's house
1997-98 initial construction.
We built a post & beam house in Lyme, NH. The timber
frame was designed and cut by the Davis Frame Company. They
deliver a complete shell package: cut timber frame, wall and roof
panels, roof shingles, windows and doors, and siding. Our general
contractor, Rick Webb of
R. D. Webb &Son
of Sunapee NH, constructed it.
We did much of the work ourselves
(installing interior insulation, kitchen cabinets and counters,
computer and telephone wiring, vinyl flooring, closet shelving,
landscaping, wallpaper, and numerous little things).
