The frame is nearly finished being cut in the factory at the Davis Frame Company, and waits in their warehouse until delivery.
Tuesday August 5 (approx)
The foundation forms are in place, and the concrete is poured.
Thursday August 7 (approx)
The completed foundation.
Adding rigid foam insulation to the frost wall under the walk-out wall.
Friday August 8 (approx)
Under the basement floor: rigid foam insulation, and then sand on top of that.
Tuesday August 12 (approx)
Framing the walk-out basement wall.
The septic system leach field.
Friday August 15
The basement walk-out wall and the first-floor deck are complete. Ready to start erecting the frame.
The timber frame was delivered today (under the
tarps), along with the siding and the shingles.
