In the center of town is the big market building, bustling with stalls
for people selling flowers, fruit, vegetables, fish, and a few odds and
ends (baskets, leather goods, tourist items, etc).
The fish market
A separate section was the fish market, with a dozen vendors ready to chop
off a tuna steak, filet an "espada" (black scabbard fish, a local specialty),
or scoop up a kilo of limpets. A pungent, but fascinating place.
