Thursday. Traffic in south Bangalore at morning rush hour. In this intersection the cross traffic weaves between the stopped cars on the main road.

Thursday. Along the main road south of Bangalore are dozens of roadside vendors selling flowers, fruits, vegetables, etc. These are long garlands of flowers.

Thursday. Many beautiful flower garlands on sale beside the road. Behind are crude stalls with more fruits and vegetables.

Thursday. I visited the Bangalore campus of Infosys for the day. A sprawling and beautiful campus outdoors, it felt like being in California. On the floor of each building's lobby, there were sand paintings made by various teams. This was my favorite.

Thursday. This collection of sand paintings at an Infosys building were meant to be viewed from the second floor. The theme of the competition was "nature", and this one seems to be about pollution and the environment.

Thursday. On the way back from Infosys it was pouring rain, and the roads were partially flooded. Through the window you can see a small stream running down the road between my car and that motorcycle.

Thursday. People and cars wading through several inches of water flooding parts of the road. Because of nearby road construction there is lots of mud, too.
