The Upper Valley Business Education Partnership connects classrooms, communities and careers in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. A nonprofit organization, UVBEP is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning by making educational experiences relevant to students and their futures. During the 2006-2007 school year, UVBEP linked resources from more than 320 Upper Valley organizations to classroom learning, resulting in direct impact to just over 4,000 students in 27 schools. An EPICS team is creating a web site that will help employers and school staff connect to provide experiential learning opportunities for students (i.e., internships, job shadowing, and mentoring).
