I am currently a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Security Technology Studies at Dartmouth College. I work with David Kotz, Sean Smith, and a bevy of talented, friendly, and energetic colleagues and students. I was a PhD student in Computer Science at Columbia University; my advisor was Dr. Angelos D. Keromytis.

I study the security of computer systems. More precisely, I try to understand why it seems difficult to build secure systems and how we can get better at it. I'm particularly interested in making software defense mechanisms automatic, correct, and efficient.
