The Pat O’Brien Lectureship

     The Pat O’Brien Lectureship was created in 2006 in recognition of Pat’s unparalleled contributions to teaching and musicianship in the lute world.  It was conceived as an opportunity to include a separate lecture series within the LSA Summer Seminar and Lute Festival that focusses on an area of musicology or performance practice complementary to the usual seminar topics.  Holders of the position have included:
