Quarterly Editor
This is currently a rotating position. It provides a chance to meet people, learn what’s happening in the lute world and convey new ideas and unknown music to your fellow members. We’re looking for responsible, self-motivated people with strong communication skills, who can work to a deadline. You need not be an expert on all aspects of the lute, as we can provide advisors, but you should be able to recognize clear thinking and good writing and be willing to solicit material aggressively. A Quarterly editor is expected to produce one issue, consisting of around 18 to 20 pages of content – a mixture of news, interviews, reviews, brief scholarly articles and, of course, at least a few pages of editions of historical or recently composed music for the lute.
