Ellen Hargis
    Ellen Hargis (soprano) is especially well known for her work in 17th and 18th Century music, from Renaissance ballads to Baroque opera and oratorio. She is a member of The King’s Noyse and The Newberry Consort, as well as Paul Hillier’s Theatre of Voices, and is a frequent guest artist with other distinguished early music ensembles. Ms. Hargis’ numerous recordings span Medieval through contemporary repertoires, and may be found on the Harmonia Mundi USA, BMG, Auvidis/Astree, Berlin Classics, Erato, and Wildboar labels.
