Lute Festival 2004 Faculty
Jacob Heringman     Jacob Heringman was born in the U.S. but since 1987 has been based in England, where he studied with Jakob Lindberg at the Royal College of Music. He since has gone on to an active career as a soloist and ensemble player, appearing with singers Barbara Bonney, Michael Chance, and Catherine King, and with leading Medieval and Renaissance ensembles that include Fretwork, The Newberry Consort, Musicians of the Globe, The King’s Singers, Virelai, and the Dufay Collective. His numerous recordings include five solo CDs, and he recently completed a new recording of pieces from the Siena Lute Book.
