You’re Invited!
Join in the fun at the 2012 edition of Lute Society of America’s Summer Seminar! This year, the seminar will explore the lute from every angle. The event will feature a distinguished faculty of lute performers, musicological specialists, and vocal coaches. The faculty includes Robert Barto, Sylvain Bergeron, Eduardo Egüez, soprano Ellen Hargis, soprano Carrie Henneman Shaw, Nigel North, Pat O’Brien, Paul O’Dette, luthier Andy Rutherford, Crawford Young, Douglas Freundlich, Christopher Morrongiello, and The Bacheler Consort. The 2012 Patrick O’Brien Lecturer is Grant Herreid.
The event will take place on the beautiful campus of Case Western Reserve University, located in Cleveland, Ohio. The week will be filled (but rest assured, not too filled) with a variety of courses and concerts sure to satisfy lutenists of every interest and at any level of development.
