Machine shop rules

We have a small machine shop in our lab, with a drill press, bandsaw, and numerous hand tools.
If you have never used our shop before, please talk to Devin Balkcom first to get a basic orientation and safety course. The two most important rules for our shop are:
- Always wear safety glasses. Pieces do go flying; acrylic in particular has a tendency to shatter when stressed.
- Clean up after yourself! Use the shop vac to vacuum up any metal shavings, sawdust, etc.
