Time: MWF 9L (8:45-9:50)
      x-hour: Th 9-9:50
 
The goal of this course is to make significant progress 
through Steinberger's book, which I am hoping will mean 
getting  through the first 8 Chapters (in some fashion or another). 
I am assuming that this is at least a second algebra course for 
all involved. 

Course requirements will be weekly homework, periodic quizzes
(to make sure you are keeping up), a final project which can be 
a computer project or summarizing some area of resarch and presenting 
this to the class, as well as watching plenty of TV in order to 
understand the instructor's sense of humor.
