    1. Pierce/Ch. 12,13,14

       ****Note: Your diary entry this week should include an 
           explanation of one thing from *each chapter* in 
           Pierce that you found interesting.
       

    2. "Diary" entry - please be neat, write full sentences, and
       be clear!! You are explaining this to your roommate, parent,
       grandparent, dog,...read it over and ask yourself, "would  
       my roommate understand this?" If you like, ask him/her to
       read it!

 
    3. Get started on your projects. Here are a few things to 
       keep in mind:
          
                 --- These are *real* papers, so they should
                     be typed, contain references, have proper
                     English, etc. I will grade them carefully.

                 --- Please make copies of any papers for me, 
                     and let me know of any particularly interesting
                     materials which you may have found on the
                     web. Thanks in advance.
