Labyrinth Mapper |
This project was completed by CS 419, Senior Design Project, at SUNY Plattsburgh during the Fall of 200. This project built upon the work done by students the year before, but with a totally new hardware platform.
The logo for the Labyrinth Mapper Project contains the names of the three major characters associated with the legend of the Labyrinth: Theseus, Ariadne and Deadelus. Ali Walji gives a brief description of why the three major modules were named after these characters in the brochure he developed for the final presentation. The Legend of the Labyrinth web page more fully explains the Legend.
The final presentation was conducted in front of a live TV audience. We had two TV camera crews present, and a photographer from the local paper.
We have video of Deadelus mapping two different mazes.
large maze (93 megs)
small maze (91 megs)
The following links are to ZIP files for each module
