I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Dartmouth College. My advisor is Prof. Amit Chakrabarti. I completed my masters at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) under the supervision of Prof. Amit Kumar. Prior to that, I was an undergraduate student at Jadavpur University. Somewhere in between, I have spent a couple of years at IBM Research Lab (New Delhi) and Adobe India.

Research Interests

I am broadly interested in theoretical aspects of algorithm design, with a primary focus on algorithms for Big Data. Specifically, my thesis research concerns with memory restricted models like the streaming model and the massively parallel computation framework (eg. map reduce etc). Recently, I become interested in the topic of fairness in algorithm design.

Here is a copy of my CV.
